Yesterday Lokomotiv signed a contract with Spartak defender Roman Shishkin.
The Railway club has signed the 23-year-old player for three and a half years with an opportunity to annul agreement at the end of the year.
"Our negotiations were not very long", Lokomotiv president Nikolay Naumov said. "We wanted to loan Shishkin, while Spartak offered us to buy him and we agreed".
"We don’t know exactly how he will play and we decided to sign him on 0,5+3 year system. If he doesn’t establish in the team in half of a year we will part with him, but if everything is all right we will continue our cooperation".
"Lokomotiv was the best variant for me and I didn’t want to leave Moscow", Shishkin commented on his move. "I will miss time which I spent in Spartak. I began my career in this club and it’s a pity that I have to leave it. Moreover I have a lot of friends there".
